Membership
If you are a local government looking to initiate a procurement, TXShare can manage the process for you. We come alongside and partner with you when there is a regional need for the effort.
There is absolutely no cost associated with membership. Once executed, there is no need to renew or execute a new agreement when utilizing any of our vendor contracts. All TXShare/NCTCOG cooperative contracts are pursuant to Chapter 791 of the Texas Local Government Code and 2CFR 200.
Who Can Participate
Any of the following organizations are eligible to participate.
- Counties
- Incorporated cities, municipalities, towns, or villages
- Authorities, districts or other political subdivisions of the state
- Non-profit organizations providing governmental services
How to Participate
If you are not already a participating organization, you will need to complete and execute an Interlocal Agreement (ILA). Follow the instructions on the form and return it via email to TXShare@nctcog.org.
Note: Emails have the same legality as original signature pages. A fully executed agreement will be returned to you via email. If your organization requires a paper copy, please let us know.
Some organizations require a signed resolution approved by their agency. Although we do not require one, you can download the TXShare Sample Resolution for your reference. You are not required to use the provided wording or format. We recommend agencies have their legal counsels review prior to use.
