What is TXShare?
TXShare is a cooperative purchasing program created by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG). Although TXShare is new, the NCTCOG has a long history of shared services and cooperative purchases on behalf of our members.
Am I required to have a username/login?
No. In an effort to be transparent, TXShare does not require a username or login to view TXShare contracts or related contract information.
Is my organization eligible to purchase through the TXShare program?
An organization is eligible to participate if it is
- A county; an incorporated city, municipality, town, or village
- An authority, district or other political subdivision of the state
- A non-profit organization providing governmental services

Do I have to be a member of the North Central Texas Council of Governments to participate?
No. You do not have to be a NCTCOG member to participate in the TXShare program. Please see the membership page for more information on which organizations are eligible to participate.
How do I make a purchase?
First, confirm your organization has an executed TXShare Master Interlocal Agreement. View the available contracts and select the contract your organization is interested in utilizing. Each contract page has its own instructions for purchasing.
What does it cost to participate in TXShare?
There is no cost for an organization to purchase using TXShare contracts. Vendors are charged a minimal fee to offset the cost of administering the program.
What are the benefits of purchasing through TXShare?
TXShare allows you all of the benefits associated with cooperative purchases including, but not limited to:
