The XShare-awarded contracts for Gunshot Detection Systems are capable of providing one or more of the following.• Rapid Response: These systems can detect gunshots almost instantly and alert law enforcement and security personnel, significantly reducing response times.
• Enhanced Safety: By providing real-time information about the location and number of shots fired, these
systems help first responders and building occupants make informed decisions to stay safe.
• Situational Awareness: They offer critical situational awareness during active shooter incidents, helping to
coordinate emergency responses more effectively.
• Evidence Collection: Shooter detection systems can record data that is valuable for post-incident investigations and can be used as evidence in court.
• Deterrence: The presence of such systems can act as a deterrent to potential shooters, knowing that their actions will be detected and responded to quickly.
